Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

What this means

Subtle Asian Treats does not sell your personal information for money. However, when you browse our site with advertising and analytics cookies enabled (such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or TikTok Pixel), we may share online identifiers and browsing activity with those platforms so they can show you relevant ads. Under California law, this can count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.

How to opt out

You have three ways to opt out:

  1. Use the cookie banner. On your next visit, decline non-essential cookies in our cookie consent banner. This blocks the advertising and analytics trackers that could otherwise share your data.
  2. Enable Global Privacy Control (GPC). We automatically honor the GPC browser signal. Browsers and extensions that support GPC include Brave, DuckDuckGo, Firefox (with the Privacy Badger extension), and others. See globalprivacycontrol.org for a full list.
  3. Email us directly. Send an email to support@subtleasiantreats.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request — Do Not Sell or Share". Include the email address and any account or order details you'd like us to apply the request to. We will confirm your request within 15 business days and process it within 45 days.

Other California privacy rights

In addition to the right to opt out, California residents can also:

  • Request to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share.
  • Request deletion of personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Request to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
  • Be free from retaliation for exercising any of your privacy rights.

Authorized agents

You can designate an authorized agent to make a privacy request on your behalf. We will require written proof of the agent's authority and may contact you directly to verify the request.
