Returns & Refunds
We want you to love your Subtle Asian Treats order. If something isn't right, we're here to help.
If you're in the EU or UK — 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You do not need to give us a reason.
To exercise this right, email us at support@subtleasiantreats.com before the 14 days are up. You can use the model withdrawal form in Annex I(B) of the Directive, but you don't have to.
After you notify us, you have a further 14 days to return the item. We will refund the full purchase price including standard outbound shipping costs within 14 days of receiving the returned item (or proof of return), using the same payment method you used to order. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.
If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described
Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Australian Consumer Law, and EU Directive 1999/44/EC, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if your item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described — regardless of whether it was on sale. Please contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos, and we will cover all return shipping costs and process a full refund or replacement.
General returns (all other customers, non-faulty items)
For customers outside the EU/UK, or for change-of-mind returns of non-faulty items, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. You are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.
To start a return, email support@subtleasiantreats.com with your order number and reason for return. We will send you return instructions. Please do not send items back to the manufacturer.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you to confirm and let you know whether your refund has been approved. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 14 days of inspection. Your bank may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
Risk of loss during shipping
We accept responsibility for your order until it is delivered to you. If your package is lost, damaged, or stolen in transit, contact us at support@subtleasiantreats.com and we will resolve it — typically by sending a replacement or issuing a refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Order cancellations
We process orders quickly, but we'll do our best to cancel or modify your order if you contact us within a reasonable time after ordering. EU/UK consumers retain the full 14-day right of withdrawal after delivery regardless of any processing cancellation window.
Exchanges
If you'd like to exchange for a different size, color, or item, email us and we'll walk you through it. For faulty or damaged items, exchanges are free.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return once we receive the item.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence. If any term in this policy conflicts with your local mandatory consumer protection law, your local law prevails.
